Most of you may be thinking that installing sliding patio doors are a complicated thing to do even though manufacturers usually provide a complete kit with installation manual. However, here are some steps on how you can install your sliding doors with no trouble at all.


1. First, inspect the four sides of the wall opening for dents, cracks and damage. Repair any damage on the wall to avoid later troubles when installing the door. 7. Once the frame has been leveled, start securing the door frame by placing screws where the shims were inserted.

8. Place door panels when the frame is properly installed. Your instruction manual will tell you where to put the stops which hold the stationary panel. Before tightening the stops, wait until the active panel is set into place.

9. Tighten all stops and install the hardware when both panels had been properly positioned.

10. Finally, remove all excess materials, such as adhesive and hardware. Clean the door for rough parts and marks.
